DMCA Policy for UConn Big East Game
UConn Big East Game respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy describes our procedures for responding to alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA. If UConn Big East Game removes or disables access to material in response to a DMCA notice, we will make a good faith attempt to contact the owner or administrator of the affected site or content so that they may make a counter-notification.
Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof, and you believe that any content hosted on our platform infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) for further detail):
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site (e.g., URL, specific game page).
- Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Submitting a DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notification containing the following information to our Copyright Agent:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in Hartford, Connecticut, and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of the alleged infringement.
Please send your DMCA Counter-Notification to our designated Copyright Agent via the contact information provided on our Contact Us page. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, UConn Big East Game will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA notification. The original notifying party will then have 10 business days to inform us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on our platform. If we do not receive such notification within 10 business days, we may, at our sole discretion, reinstate the removed material or enable access to it.
